ViaLighting, in collaboration with Light Func Lighting Design, delivered the lighting supply and coordination for the project—ensuring that illumination harmonized with the architectural language and emotional essence of Diriyah. Together, the teams developed a lighting scheme that enhances the hotel’s atmosphere through softness, rhythm, and contextual depth.

Warm, low-glare illumination reveals the tactile beauty of clay walls, carved wood, and traditional geometric detailing. Concealed fixtures and 3000K warm tones evoke the glow of lanterns and firelight, preserving the authenticity of the Najdi setting while providing modern functionality.

Outdoor courtyards and pathways continue the same narrative, using subtle layers of light to create serenity and connection with the desert landscape. Through precision and respect for heritage, ViaLighting and Light Func have illuminated Ban Samhan as a beacon of contemporary Saudi hospitality—a timeless dialogue between light, culture, and comfort.
