Carved into the dramatic sandstone mountains of AlUla, the Desert Rock Hotel redefines hospitality through harmony between architecture, nature, and light. Developed under The Red Sea Global initiative, the project merges innovation and symbolism, with ViaLighting contributing to the design and supply of a custom lantern concept—a beacon of light inspired by the desert’s elemental strength and timeless serenity.

More than a fixture, the lantern represents a metaphorical journey of light—a symbol of guidance, endurance, and discovery across the vast desert landscape. Engineered to endure extreme temperatures, wind, and sand, its refined design and durable materials embody the balance between performance and poetry.
